I’m Fabiana Van Lente, an Austin photographer with over 25 years of experience creating refined, authentic imagery for individuals, brands, and organizations. My work is defined by a thoughtful, editorial approach and an ability to bring ease and confidence to every person I photograph.
Originally from Lima, Peru, I moved to the United States to attend Texas Christian University, where I earned a Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography. It was there that I developed not only a passion for the medium, but a deep understanding of visual storytelling and composition.
My professional background includes working as an advertising photographer for Pier 1 Imports, along with decades of experience leading my own business, FabiFoto. Today, I collaborate with clients across industries—from corporate and higher education to creative and entrepreneurial spaces—delivering imagery that feels both elevated and genuine.
As an Austin portrait photographer and commercial photographer, I am known for creating a calm, comfortable environment that allows people to be fully themselves in front of the camera. The result is imagery that is natural, polished, and enduring.
Travel has always been an important influence in my work. Peru, in particular, continues to inspire me with its depth of culture and visual richness, and it remains at the heart of a long-term personal project to publish a photographic collection celebrating its traditions and landscapes.
